At almost $1 trillion, and counting, the Wall Street bailout will cost taxpayers as much as the Iraq war. Barack Obama squandered the chance to lead with an alternative plan to the Wall Street bailout. Instead both Obama and McCain pushed for a plan that’s not only deeply unpopular but potentially as costly as a new Iraq war.

The media could have been used to bring the American people up to date on market-related developments and educat

Bernie Sanders spells out the true origins of our Wall Street meltdown, and proposes the right solution. We need a buy-out, not a bail-out; and we need to restore the regulations that served us well for more than 60 years.

It’s pretty clear whose side this complete fraud of a Speaker is really on. She continues to lie not only about having seen no evidence of Bush crimes, but also about Congress having to pass a law to get us out of Iraq. She is also blatantly lying when she denies that she is in violation of her oath of office. Let’s save a seat for her right next to Bush at the Hague.
